Classes are typically 45-60 minutes long and once a week. We do not have a central location to hold classes, so we travel to the public schools, private schools, and daycares that welcome our programs. Please reach out to paul@internationaltreehouse.com if you’d like to try to bring a program to your area.
As long as an open classroom or space is available, we can bring the fun of learning a second language to you! Because TreeHouse offers before-school, after-school, and during school options, parents can register and pay for classes on their own, or your school can buy a group package to provide language classes within their own curriculum. Our interactive classes are structured to introduce the Spanish and Chinese language, culture, history, and arts, aimed to develop the students' natural physical and mental abilities. To keep a fun and enjoyable educational environment for all students, TreeHouse has the expertise and the right combination of tools to engage children in learning. To take advantage of learning such an important language at this early of stage in life, the following core pillars are just a few that we incorporate into our class curriculum to maximize learning potential:
Modern technology such as smartboards to keep learning fun and contemporary
Fun, hands-on activities, songs, and arts to celebrate cultural diversity and history
Creative tools to introduce new concepts like Chinese writing and calligraphy
Class and group projects emphasizing team work and sharing towards one goal
Classes are typically 45-60 m
Our mission at TreeHouse is to fully immerse our students in our language classes and to associate fun and creativity with learning. Not structured off a boring manual textbook, our class structure and curriculum brings out the students' imaginations and natural abilities to learn. Want to try a class out? No problem!
